Take the clock
A subathon belongs to an account, so it follows you to another machine and you can hand it to a moderator. There is no password to choose.

What an account is for
Three things, and none of them are a mailing list. Subtick stores an identifier from whichever provider you use, a display name and an address; nothing else, and nothing is sent to anyone.
The run survives the browser
A subathon is tied to the account rather than to a secret in one browser's local storage, so clearing your cookies, switching laptops or running the panel from a phone mid-stream all work.
Someone else can run it
Invite a moderator by code and they get an editor's access to that one subathon. Only the owner can hand that out, and only the owner can take it back.
Twitch does the most
Signing in with Twitch is the same grant that lets the server subscribe to your channel's events, so the clock keeps counting with your browser shut. Google and email accounts run a subathon perfectly well; they just cannot be the source of its Twitch events.
